Hello! I'm Hau-Yee, TUEN
From Hong Kong | Based in London | Effective style
Cantonese, English, Mandarin, Japanese.

Visual Designer
Expanding into UX, Structure-driven, Emotionally aware
I’m a London-based visual designer with experience across branding, packaging, editorial work and web design. I’m currently expanding into UX to create more logic-aware, user-focussed systems.
Visually, I lean towards structured layouts, clear hierarchies and a tone that feels warm but considered. I often find myself somewhere between visual precision and subtle storytelling.
I’ve worked in-house and independently in Hong Kong and Japan, which has helped make me comfortable switching between contexts and to understand how visual language adapts across culture. My background in screenwriting still plays a role. I think narratively, and I like when things flow with rhythm and intent.
What I care about most is coherence rather than surface. I design to connect clearly, with systems that feel built with purpose rather than simply styled. I also care deeply about how design becomes tangible. I’ve managed print production for things like foil cards, packaging and booklets, working directly with suppliers to make sure everything comes together as intended.
